The wax moth is one of the honeybee pests that cause a lot damage and loss for beekeepers in Tunisia. use insecticides more used although they are known to contaminate honey. This study aims test essential oils two North African common plants Thymbra capitata L. Mentha pulegium efficacy as alternative method by fumigation on instars Galleria mellonela We also determined duration development stages great (GWM) presented Results showed under temperature ranged between 30 33°C, total from eggs adults GWM lasted 51 days. fumigant toxicity both larvae tested. second instar was susceptible than 4th instar. Moreover, M. toxic against 2nd T. with an LC50 at 48h 41.82 456.27 µl/L air, respectively. present good control moths.
